‘Something is Different This Morning’ is a product of the author Cynthia Pokuah’s determination to challenge the social stigma surrounding menstruation. The book aims to educate children about periods through the eyes of a young girl named Nyoka.
Nöl collective's Menstruation Education Campaign is a project aiming to expand young girls’ access to menstruation education in public schools throughout the West Bank in Palestine. In each workshop, the girls receive preliminary supplies such as pads. They also engage in activities to challenge the taboos about menstruation, sexuality, and womanhood. A guidebook to menstruation which is designed to educate the students about their bodies, menstruation, and hygiene. This guide offers an empowering and exciting presentation of menstruation.
